Dock Pro System Wifi Requirements

Before getting started, here are a few things to keep in mind when connecting your Dock Pro to your home WiFi.

Distance to the Router

While it is not required that your Dock Pro be next to your router, the closer your Dock Pro is to a router in your house, the stronger connection you may receive. If you notice that you are having connectivity issues, shortening the physical distance between your router and your Dock Pro should be one of the first thing you try. 

 

Minimum WiFi Requirements

Your Dock Pro will only connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. 

• If you have two network names with the same name - For example “Home WiFi” and “Home WiFi-5G”, select the “Home WiFi” 
• If a 2.4GHz network isn’t available, you need to enable this on your router. Please consult your router documentation for more information on how to enable 2.4 GHz network, temporarily disable your 5 GHz network, or change your security protocol.

 

For set up, the mobile phone you are using to connect your Dock Pro, needs to be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The WiFi network your mobile phone is connected to, will be the WiFi network connected to your Dock Pro.
