2.4GHz Network
There are two ways of confirming that the network you are trying to connect your Dock Pro to is a 2.4 GHz Network.
Option 1
This will be contingent on the type of device you are using.
iOS - a third party application needs to be installed such as "Net Analyzer", a link to to app can be found below:
Android - Swipe down on the screen for the notifications panel to appear > Press and hold the WiFi icon > select the settings (gear icon) for the current/connected network > then it is in one of the two options depending on the android version:
Read the “Frequency” setting – shows as 2.4 or 5GHz
Read the “Network speed” setting – if speed is over 400 Mbps then you are using 5GHz network.
Apple Computer - Hold down the Option/Alt key on your keyboard and select the WiFi icon in the nav bar. The WiFi network frequency can be found in the Channel section.
Windows/Microsoft Computer - Open the network panel from the taskbar > Click ‘Properties’ > Under the Properties section the ‘Network Band’ should be listed as 2.4GHz or 5.0 GHz
Option 2
- Enter the IP address of the network in a browser.
- Enter in your username and password. (Note: Typically, the Username will be “admin” and the password will be blank or “admin”.
- Click the Advanced Settings tab.
- Click Network Settings.
- Enable the 2.4 GHz band.
