Unfortunately Android devices don’t provide a way to view network connection information out of the box. We would need to recommend that they either download a third-party app such as “Wi-Fi Analyzer” or use a different device to determine the network information such as a Windows computer or a Mac.
If they decide to download “Wi-Fi Analyzer”:
- In the app, tap the “view” menu and then select “AP List”.
- At the top of this screen you’ll see a “Connected to: [Network Name]” header. Tap that and a window will appear with more information about their network.
- The Router’s address will be listed as “Gateway”.
