WiFi Requirements for the Sleepme Tracker

Before getting started here are a few things to keep in mind before connecting your tracker to your home WiFi.

Distance to the Router

While it is not required that your tracker be next to your router, the closer your tracker is to a router/access point in your house, the stronger connection you may receive.

 

WiFi Compatibility Requirements

Your tracker will only connect to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. 

• If you have two network names with the same name - For example “Home WiFi” and “Home Wifi-5G”, select the “Home WiFi” 
• If a 2.4GHz network isn’t available, you need to enable this on your router. Please consult your router documentation for more information on how to enable 2.4 GHz network, temporarily disable your 5 GHz network, or change your security protocol.

 

To optimize set up, the mobile device you are using to connect your tracker to WiFi should be connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.

If you want to connect your tracker to a different network, you can manually enter the WiFi network name and password when prompted in the mobile application.
