Get Ready

We love pets, but keep them away during setup.

Pet nails can damage the Hydrolayer unless it’s safely
covered by the top layer.

Strip your bed down to the mattress.

If you have a mattress protector, you can use it — but the Chilipad Cover already acts as one.

Choose a spot for your Dock.

Pick a place near a power outlet with open space around the front and back grilles. Common spots include under the bed
(at the head or foot) or inside a nightstand with airflow. Just make sure it’s in an easy-to-reach spot for quick water refills.
A surge protector is recommended.

        Note: For adjustable beds
we recommend the foot of the bed.

1. Setup Your Chilipad Cover

You’ll Need

Chilipad Cover

For each corner, hold the cover and anchor band together, then stretch them over your mattress like a fitted sheet.

  Pull the anchor bands
underneath all four corners.

Once it’s in place, unzip one side of the top layer to expose the bottom layer.

2. Attach Your Hydrolayer

You’ll Need

Hydrolayer 4 S-Hooks Water Hose

Set the Hydrolayer on the bottom A layer and secure all 4 S-Hooks.

Use the ladders to adjust for your
mattress height. Aim for snug,
with no shifting or bunching.

Slide the water hose through the opening behind the Chilipad tag and attach it to the Hydrolayer.

For split adjustable beds
If the mattress retainer bar gets in the way, use the zipper opening gap to

connect the hose to the Hydrolayer — skipping the normal water hose opening.

Zip the top and bottom layers together.

3. Setting Up Your Dock

You’ll Need

Dock and Power Cord System Cleaner Distilled Waller

Plug the power cord into the Dock and then into a wall outlet or surge protector.

Connect the water
hose to the Dock.

Press the power button to turn on and add one packet of System Cleaner to the reservoir.

Add distilled water to the Dock’s reservoir until the screen displays the Hydrolayer is full.

Download the Sleepme app to unlock scheduling and more.

4. Setup Your Remote

You’ll Need

Remote USB-C Cable USB-C Charger

Choose a spot on your nightstand for the Remote.

Angle the Remote to your bed to automatically turn your Chilipad on or off. See Remote settings to learn more.

Plug the power cord into the Remote and then into an outlet.

The Remote will pair with your Dock automatically

Optional: Use your USB-C accessory port to charge your phone or another accessory.

Time to make your bed and own the night!
