Dock Pro Not Powering Up
A Chilipad Dock Pro sleep system might experience no power due to a few potential issues, including: a faulty power cord, a problem with the power outlet, a malfunctioning power switch on the unit itself, a faulty internal power supply, or an empty water reservoir which can sometimes trigger a safety mechanism preventing power to the pump.
If your Chilipad Dock Pro is not powering up, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue.

Basic Troubleshooting:
Display Screen
- Observe the display screen activating:
- Examine the Dock Pro for the illuminated display screen. If the light is on, the unit is powered.
- Ensure that the control panel is not damaged and that the buttons are not stuck or unresponsive.
Check Power Source
- Ensure Firm Connection:
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into both the outlet and the Dock Pro unit. - Verify Outlet Functionality:
Make sure the power outlet you are using is functioning. Plug in another device (like a lamp or phone charger) to see if it works. - Remove Surge Protector:
If the unit is plugged into a surge protector, remove the surge protector and plug the unit directly into the wall outlet. This helps to determine if the surge protector is causing any issues. - Check Power Cord:
Inspect the power cord for any visible damage, frays, or kinks. If damaged, replace the cord.
Reset the Unit
- Unplug the unit from the power source.
- Wait for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Check if it powers up after resetting.
