How can I get more accurate information from my Insight Tracker?

Getting accurate information from your Insight Tracker

If you are receiving inconsistent results from your Tracker, or you notice that your sleep data is coming through in pieces there are a couple of things to be mindful of.

Placement matters

You'll want to make sure that the Tracker's sensor is at chest height and centered to where you spend most of the night sleeping.

  • To figure out where your sensor needs to go get into bed and get comfortable. Once you are comfy, take an extra pillow or whatever else is hand and place it next to yourself at chest height. You can use this as a point of reference when you get out of bed to determine how low to place your sensor.
  • Are you an active sleeper? It's possible that you are rolling off of your sensor in your sleep, resulting in incomplete reports. When you are waking up after a sleep cycle, try to take note if you are essentially in the same spot as when you fell asleep. If not, are you closer to the center of the bed, maybe closer to the edge, also did you sink deeper into your bed to get into the sheets? All of these could help to explain inconsistent sensor readings.
