Chili Cool Mesh Pad is Damp

Condensation is a likely reason for moisture on your pad. Condensation is a natural occurrence on a surface that is cooler than the surrounding temperature with relatively high humidity. At the dew point (when moisture occurs) moisture will form around the tubes. A differential of more than 10°F between the air temperature and the control unit temperature setting can often result in condensation.

A solution for this issue is to increase the control units temperature by a few degrees and ensure your room is climate-controlled. Condensation can still occur when there is air conditioning & if the humidity level is too high.

How do we know if condensation is the culprit? Turn your unit to the Hi setting and let it run for an hour- If the pad still gets wet please reach out to our Customer Experience Team!
