Draining your Chilipad

Before getting started, take a moment to watch this helpful video, and let it guide you through the process of draining the water.

Your Sleep System comes with a drain tool, it is a plastic piece that looks similar to the letter H. The cross end of the tool (the bottom portion in the picture below) is to use to drain your unit and the hollow end (the top of the picture below) is to drain your pad.

Simply place your pad so the connector is lower than the pad and push the hollow end of the drain key down on the connector and this will open the valves to release the water in the pad where you would like it to go. 

Should you lose your water release key, you can purchase a new water release key. If you have a 3D printer then we have made the model available here so you can print your own replacement!
