Can I purchase a Sleep System as DME? (Durable Medical Equipment)

Durable Medical Equipment

Our systems are not currently classified as Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Generally, to be classified as DME the equipment should not exceed $200. Otherwise, the DME would likely need to be rented. When DME is rented, the benefits cannot exceed the total of the cost to purchase the DME.

Based on the general DME requirements, our system's price point makes it difficult to purchase and most people would need to rent it much longer than most insurance companies may deem medically necessary.

With that said, we want to help as many people as possible get a Cube so if 1) Your doctor feels it’s medically necessary 2) Is willing to prescribe it and 3) Your insurance plan would reimburse you, then we’re happy to coordinate with you.
