Resting heart rate (RHR) is the average number of heart beats per minute (bpm) for all sleep sessions for that day.

Resting heart rates for healthy adults are generally between 50-100 bpm.

Rates below your average are a sign of good recovery and readiness. Intense training, a late meal, elevated body temperature, alcohol near bedtime and general stress, will tend to elevate your heart rate while sleeping.

Rates above 100 bpm or lower than 50 bpm can be an indicator of serious underlying health issues. Please consult with your physician if these conditions exist.
