How to Enhance the Accuracy of Your Sleep Tracker

If you are experiencing inconsistent results from your Insight Tracker or observing fragmented sleep data, consider the following key factors to improve accuracy.

Optimal Sensor Placement

Ensure that the Tracker's sensor is positioned at chest height and centered relative to your primary sleeping area.

To determine the ideal placement, lie down in your bed comfortably. Once settled, take an extra pillow or another object and position it next to you at chest height. This can serve as a point of reference for when you get out of bed, helping you assess the appropriate height for your sensor.

If you tend to move during your sleep, it is possible that you are inadvertently shifting away from the sensor, which may lead to incomplete data reports. As you wake after a sleep cycle, observe your position in relation to where you initially fell asleep. Are you in the same spot, closer to the center, or near the edge of the bed? Additionally, consider whether you have sunk deeper into the mattress. These observations can provide valuable insights into potential causes of inconsistent sensor readings.

Verify Charging Status 

To verify the charging status, first, ensure that the device is properly connected to a power source using the appropriate charger. Next, observe the indicator lights on the device or charger to see if they reflect signs of charging, such as a solid or blinking light. If the charging status remains unclear, try unplugging the charger and then reconnecting it to see if the charging indicator changes.
