Understanding When Your Cube Flashes 888

Your Cube may flash 888 in two scenarios:

 

Blinking 888 Only

If it blinks "888" without showing any additional readings, this typically indicates a communication issue with the device, often requiring re-synchronization with the remote control (help@sleep.me). This situation suggests that the device is not properly connected or communicating with the remote, and re-syncing the remote to the Cube usually resolves the problem.

Power Cycle and Reset:

  • Turn Off the Cube: Switch it off and unplug it from the wall.
  • Wait it Out: Let it sit for about 15 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again.

Check for Remote Battery:

  • If you’re trying to power on the Cube with the remote and it’s not responding, double-check those batteries. Fresh batteries can do wonders!

Syncing the Cube and Remote:

  • Plug in the Cube.
  • Reset the Cube: Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button on the Cube for about 5 seconds until you see the "888" blinking on the display.
  • Power Up the Remote: Turn on your remote control. If everything is working correctly, you should see the actual temperature on the Cube display.
