Create Sleep Schedules in the Chilipad App
Step-by-step instructions for creating a customized sleep plan to enhance your overall sleep quality and well-being.

What is a Sleep Schedule?
Sleep Schedules automatically turn your Dock on or off and adjust the temperature based on your preferences. Set your ideal bedtime and wake temperatures, and plan adjustments throughout the night—so you don’t have to make changes manually. You can create multiple schedules so your sleep stays consistent — even when your days change.
Before You Begin
- Schedules are linked to your user account—not a specific Dock—and will run wherever you are assigned to sleep.

For example, if you are assigned to the right side of a bed, your schedules will run on the Dock assigned to the right side of that bed. If you’re assigned to Both bedsides, your schedules will run on the Docks assigned to the right and left sides.

- Schedules must be at least 60 minutes long.
- You can create multiple schedules and toggle them Active or Inactive as needed.
- Only one active schedule can run at a time—overlapping schedules are not supported.
- You can still adjust the temperature manually while a schedule is running using the app dashboard or the controls on your Dock.
Steps
- Open the Chilipad app and tap the calendar icon in the bottom navigation bar of the Chilipad app.
- Tap Get Started to create your first schedule, or the plus icon on the top right to create an additional schedule.
- Enter a name for your schedule, then tap Continue.
- Set your Bed Time and Wake Time using the dial, or tap the time fields to enter them manually using the time scroll feature. Time selection is available in 5 minute increments.
- By default, all days are selected. Tap to deselect any days you don’t want the schedule to run.
- Tap Continue.
- Use the + / – buttons to set your Bed Time and Wake Time temperatures.
- Suggested adjustments may appear for Deep and REM sleep. You can edit or remove these as needed.
- Tap Add Adjustment to create a custom change during your sleep session. Set the time and temperature, then tap Save Adjustment.
Tip: You’ll see recommended guidelines to help optimize your temperature settings.
- (Optional) Enable Warm Awake to gradually increase temperature 15 minutes before your Wake Time for a more natural wake-up.
- When finished, tap Save Schedule.
