PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Chilipad Dock is a premium mattress thermal regulation control unit. It powers an active water-circulation loop in the Chilipad Hydrolayer to maintain a precise sleep environment, promoting deeper restorative sleep through controlled cooling and heating.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Dock: A bedside control unit that acts as the systems engine, cooling or heating water to your target temperature and pumping it through the Hydrolayer to regulate your sleep environment.

Drain Key: Used to drain the water from the Dock and the Hydrolayer.

System Cleaner: Keep your Chilipad in top shape with our System Cleaner.

Power Cord: AC Power Cord.

Remote (RM360): Wireless nightstand controller.

Remote Power Supply & Cable: USB-C Cable and USB-C Power Supply.

UNBOXING

Carefully remove each component from the packaging.

Note: These instructions cover the components included in the Dock box. Additional items like the Chilipad Cover and Hydrolayer may also be referenced, as they are commonly purchased with a Chilipad Dock.

INSTALLATION & SETUP

Positioning the Dock

Place the Dock on a level surface. To prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance, maintain at least 6 inches (15cm) of open space around all intake and exhaust grilles. Do not obstruct airflow with bedding or furniture.

Connection Sequence

1. Ensure the Chilipad Cover and Hydrolayer are installed on your mattress.

2. Connect the water hose to the Hydrolayer; ensure it snaps into place with a "click".

3. Connect the opposite end of the hose to the back of the Dock; ensure it snaps into place with a "click".

4. Connect the AC power cord to a grounded wall outlet.

Initial Power On Behavior

1. The Dock screen will illuminate with the Chilipad logo and transition to the setup screen.

2. Add one packet of included System Cleaner.

3. Add distilled water to the Dock's reservoir until the screen displays the Hydrolayer is full.

DISPLAY BREAKDOWN

Power Control: Press the center power button to turn on/off the system.

Temperature Range: Adjust between 55°F (13°C) and 115°F (46°C) using the (+) and (-) controls.

  1. Press and hold - and + together.
  2. Scroll up with (+) or down with (-).
  3. Press power to select.
Wi-Fi Network Connect or change your Dock's Wi-Fi network.
Airplane Mode Deactivate all Wi-Fi and Bluetooth transmissions for users sensitive to wireless signals.
Brightness Control the brightness of your Dock screen.
Flip Display Rotates the display 180° so it's easy to read from bed.
Temp. Unit Change from Fahrenheit to Celsius or vice versa.
Factory Reset Removes Wi-Fi and restores default settings to the Dock.
Firmware Version View the current firmware version.

HOW TO PAIR THE DOCK & REMOTE

The Remote pairs automatically with your Dock upon startup of both devices. For re-pairing instructions, see help.sleep.me

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

Frequency Action
As Needed Refill the reservoir with distilled water as needed. Evaporation varies based on Chilipad temperature, room temperature and more.
Monthly Add one packet of Chilipad System Cleaner and top off with distilled water.
Every 6 Months OR As Needed

Clean Air: Remove the grille, wipe with a damp cloth, dry, and reinstall.
Clean Reservoir: Remove the reservoir from the Dock. Discard the water. Rinse then dry using a clean cloth, return, and refill with distilled water.

Cover Washing Instructions (top and bottom only)

  • Remove Hydrolayer and S-Hooks
  • Machine wash cold
  • Tumble dry medium

Hydrolayer Maintenance Instructions

  • Wipe down with damp towel
  • Towel dry

Inability to follow maintenance instructions voids the customer warranty.

STORAGE & RE-COMMISSIONING

When the system is not in use for extended periods, prep the Dock for storage:

1. Disconnect power.

2. Use the Drain Key to drain all water from the Dock.

IMPORTANT: Never invert the Dock to drain; always use the Drain Key.

3. To drain the Hydrolayer bring it to a tub or sink and insert the Drain Key. Let gravity assist in draining the Hydrolayer.

4. Allow all components to dry completely before packing.

5. Store in a temperature-controlled, dry location.

When returning to use, follow the Every 6 Months OR As Needed section on the previous page.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Device Does Not Power On:

  • Verify the Power Cord is inserted into the back of the Dock.
  • Ensure the Power Cord is plugged into a wall outlet that has power.

Dock is Out of Water: Fill the reservoir with distilled water.
